Receivables Specialist needed for our Lansing area client.Receivables Specialist will post all first and third party payments and non-covered changes to the system; Handle claim resolutions with insurance carriers; work with data entry and registration staff to eliminate and correct errors; Assist with setup of electronic billing and HIPPA complaint claim formats and meet with insurance representatives to discuss billing concerns.Receivable Specialist should have an Associates Degree with Medical Billing Certificate and or two plus years of billing experience. Experiences with Medicaid and commercial insurance preferred-especially in the areas of Pediatrics, Family Planning and Mental Health.
