The Michigan Environmental Council (MEC) seeks an Organizer to lead Zero Waste Detroit (ZWD) in organizing Detroit residents for improved air quality. The successful candidate will encourage recycling, particularly in current curbside areas, and educate community/health institutions in the Midtown area about the impacts of Detroit's solid waste management policies on the health of city residents, particularly expectant mothers and children.
