SUMMARY:
Supplier Quality Engineer will work with the suppliers and engineering to develop inspection standards, improve supplier incoming quality, gauging, and parts per million defects, assist production in prevention of defect occurrence, etc. Candidates should be willing to travel and work rotating shifts. REQUIREMENTS:
-ASQC certification
-High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred
-3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, or a Reliability Engineer
-Candidates should have experience in Quality and Project Management and have good analytical ability
-Experience with MS Office at an Intermediate level and knowledge of Gauge design, Geometric Design, and/or Tooling
-Preferred experience: Red X experience, Understanding of SPC, Vis Mock-up experience, knowledge of PPAP requirements, Supplier Audit experience. Any of these items are a plus.
