Michigan State University Department of Surgery seeks an innovative and dynamic administrator to assist the Department Chair with management of a rapidly expanding academic practice.&nbsp Responsibilities include all aspects of departmental administration: strategic, financial, business, and human resources.&nbsp The administrator develops financial and operating indicators and goals and provides reports to assist with budgeting, revenue allocation and forecasting across the clinical, academic and research missions. Developing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with all clinical partners and contractors is also a key expectation as is providing oversight and administrative direction for grant management and clinical trials compliance. A master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
