JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Vice President of Medical Affairs, responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the overall management and direction of the following functions: medical staff services, employee health, infection control, risk management, and quality improvement, and supervising activities and personnel following the goals and objectives of the department, as well as performing the job duties of a consultant
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree
* Course work in administration/management or equivalent experience in business or management in a health-related field
* Three to five years of administrative or clinical staff experience in quality improvement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
* Masters degree
* AOA or JCAHO accreditation experience
