Must have basic knowledge of LAN/WAN topology, associated monitoring and troubleshooting tools, data center network equipment and network cable specifications.  Must have ability to navigate through Unix/Linux/AIX/VMS/DOS and perform basic commands, working knowledge of FTP/SFTP protocols, comprehensive knowledge of Office suite and PC operating systems, intermediate knowledge of retail POS (point of sale) equipment, and call center tools and functions.  Must have effective verbal skills and technical written skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to plan and organize. Ability to balance priorities among stakeholders and strong trouble-shooting and incident resolution skills. Must be able to work in an environmentally controlled room, must be able to work 12 hour shifts and be available to work on nights, weekends and holidays.
