JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of a registered**nurse, responsible for providing support to nursing staff and assisting in the delivery of patient care following patient care plan and hospital policies and procedures. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Specialized education requirements, for those not meeting minimum six-month nursing assistant experience include: acute care nursing assistant course preferred for acute care position
* Long term care nursing assistant course
* Completion of medical assistant program
* Completion of a clinical rotation while participating an accredited nursing program
* CPR or BLS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* State Certification as a C.N.A. for the State of Michigan
* Direct patient care experience
