JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision from the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, analyzes patient changes and ensures that appropriate billing and collection functions are carried out to keep accounts receivable at lowest possible levels
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Computerized hospital billing and/or collections experience
* Experience requirement will be waived if applicant has certificate, diploma, or associates degree in insurance billing
* Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of external groups or individuals who may openly display emotional and/or aggressive behavior
* Must be comfortable with mathematical computations and be able to function under the pressure of deadlines and collection goals
