setting up recurring status meetings with the business fielding questions from the business regarding assigned IT projects Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues Gathering and updating project materials completing budgeting forecasting project documentation business flows and lessons learned documents Speaking to details of the project to both the business and years of IT Project management experience 5+ years of working handson with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle 5+ years of data gatheringanalysis and writing systems requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and negotiate winwin solutions to project issues Assets Experience with State Government Medicaid business area or healthcare industry Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Ability to organize and lead project related meetings with customer development staff and sponsor level staff Proficiency with MS Office (including Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Access) Proficiency with MS Project Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions Experience working with test plans and test cases Ability to work with end userscustomers to understand and develop requirements Experience with Project Status Reporting Experience with Project Quality Management Experience with Project Budget Management Experience with Project ResourceStaffing Management Extensive experience with Project Change Management Extensive experience with Project Issue Management Extensive experience with project development methodology and project management methodology and able to apply methodology in a practical manner Needs to be able to work independently and not rely on State or other team members for direction This
